I am working as a Network Support Engineer in a Secondary School. I am with a five years workpermit and after reviewing my performance School increased around £3,500 of my salary from this month (Sep’09). I am not quite sure whether my employer need inform UKBA about this. I started doing some research and found this link in UKBA site.
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... employment
Where said if significant (in my case is around £3,500) change of salary, employer need to re-apply WP for me under tier 2. My employer does not know about this yet. What should I do now, inform them or keep it quite? Because, they had a bad experience with my Work permit application. They had to apply it three times to get it approved. Will it affect my settlement application after five years if we do not inform UKBA about this now.
Thanks in advance

How do I actually measure it is not a significant change. This £3500 increase is not the part of public sector employee 5% pay rise.
tanvirni wrote:Thanks again Markie and it is the best way to look at.
I also found this.
