Salary increase under TIER2 Visa..

Post by madona587 » Wed Oct 19, 2011 12:54 pm

Hi Guys,

I have a question. I have been given a TIER2 visa last month for a job in Section J of SOC. I switched from PSW.

I had a meeting with the board of directors y.day and they were impressed with the work I have done for them for the past 20 months. Now they want to increase my pay but want to keep me in the same job. But some of the job role will slightly change.. This will come to effect from January.

My Questions,

1. Do I have to tell UKBA ?
2. Do we have to get a new COS ?
3. Does my HR has to update SMS with this information ?

Just wondering. I don't want to lose my extra cash :P

Thanks,..

The policy guidance explains when such technical changes have to reported and how.

Thanks Sushdmehta. I read the policy before posting here. Couldn't find it. I will look again. If anyone have a similar experience please share

Reading carefully helps! Read clauses 190 & 191.

change of employment application is not required for other changes to your job. For 191. example if you are remaining with the same employer and change jobs to a different job within the same SOC code, your pay increases, or you are moving under TUPE arrangements due to takeover, merger, or de-merger

Makes sense now :D

Thanks Sushmehta
