Salary slip date

Post by shivkrshukla » Mon Jul 12, 2010 9:41 pm

Hi

I am planning to apply to swich from workpermit to tier 1 on Friday 16th July because i moved my saving to another bank on 16th april 2010 and complet 90 days on this day. I'll apply by post because I am not getting the appointment for this date
( before new rules come into effect 0n 19th july). I have two questions:

1. I'll post my application on 16th July would the date of application be accepted as 16th july?
2. My salary slips have the last day of the month as the date on ther slip, how ever the salry actually gose into my account between 21st day of the month to 1sat day of the next month. so the bank satement refelects a differnt date and not what is on the salary slip. Is that all right?

Date of application
45. The date of application will be taken to be the following:
For applications made in the UK:
Where the application form is sent by post,
• the date of posting; or

Where the application form is sent by
• courier, the date on which it is delivered to the UK Border Agency of the Home Office; or

2. My salary slips have the last day of the month as the date on ther slip, how ever the salry actually gose into my account between 21st day of the month to 1sat day of the next month. so the bank satement refelects a differnt date and not what is on the salary slip. Is that all right? That shouldnt be a problem

All my 12 months (Claim Period) salary slips were generated on a non-claim period on the same date.
example -
Claim period : Apr 2009 to Mar 2010
12 months salary slip generation date - 25th May 2010
Bank statement date - 2nd June 2010

So, you are very good to go.
