I am relocating to London with my current employer and will be joining London office by 2nd Monday of July. Company will take care of tax consultation, relocation briefing etc.
Considering the fact the 'organization' is going to facilitate during the process, I am trying to understand on the best possible choices on following -
(1) Considering a 50K gross, what are my options to reduce my tax burden using NI, personal expenses etc. which are controlled/managed by org. I tried some tax calculators on the web. Are they perfect and I can squeeze it on under additional heads? My T1 extension in Dec, 2012 will require 35,000 pound as income.
(2) Which bank can offer me flexibility of
--(2.A) remittance to Indian bank account at higher rates online;
--(2.B) Bank statements are available, if original ones are misplaced or moved to new residence.
3) Considering two work locations Central London & Canary Wharf; and apartment budget including all taxes of 1200 pounds, which city locations are suitable? We are a couple.
