Schengen visa from India

Hi,

My in laws will be coming to london to visit us for some time. During this time, we have plans to visit some schengen countries.

Is it a good idea for them to get the schengen visa from India or they can come here and apply?

If applying from India is better, please suggest some agent's name/number.
