My girlfriend is Taiwanese with Taiwan(R.O.C) passport. If she gets a residency permit in Schengen (Sweden) based on her relationship with me what is the longest period of permitted stay her mother can get on a visitor visa to Schengen if she wants to come and visit every year. We don't plan to apply for a resident visa for her mother. Optimal would be if she could come and visit maybe 3 months per year? Is it possible for her mother to renew the Schengen visitor visa in the UK since the UK has recently implemented 6 months visa free entry for Taiwanese nationals or she can only apply in her home country (Taiwan)? Are there any plans for the Schengen countries to implement visa free entry for Taiwanase nationals similar to the new British rules?
