TB screening showed negative - please help

Post by shamsul » Thu Aug 09, 2012 10:39 am

Hi,

My wife recently went for her medical check and she was told that she would have to come back for three more days as the xray showed a spot on her lung.

The doctor said she would have to drink warm water before sleeping and they will examine her cough - however she has no other symptoms... no cough or breathing issues or anything.

Can anyone please let me know if they have been in a similar situation? Can this lead to further delay? Does anyone know how long it may take them to determine the results?

Any advice will be appreciated.

I have heard on this forum once that an X-Ray was redone due to similar circumstances. Although the test is done again, it may not add any further delays if the date is not too far apart.

Best of luck

Does anyone know if she will be given the certificate after three days or does the sputum testing take a long time?
