Re: NARIC letter required or not? Please help confirm

Could someone please confirm if I still need to get a NARIC letter or am I exempt? You need to have one of the below certificate a. B1 certificate b. NARIC Certificate I think you would have been exempted only if you had a degree from UK university. The points based calculator has to be supported b...

If you provided the B1 test for your ILR application then you don't have to provide it again - just select the appropriate option in the application.
Thanks..I applied for NARIC

Re: NARIC letter required or not? Please help confirm

I am asking since form AN guidance says "If you met the requirement to have sufficient knowledge of language and life in the UK when you applied for settlement by having a B1 level test you do not have to demonstrate it again. (People who applied for settlement on or after 28 October 2013 needed to ...

NARIC letter required or not? Please help confirm

Dear Forum members, I received my ILR in January 2015 and am now applying for Naturalisation via the Online service. In the list of documents the online form adds automatically : "NARIC letter that confirms the qualification meets or exceeds the recognised standard of a Bachelor's or Masters degree...

Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

I got my ILR on 03 Jan 2015, Now In Form AN (ver. 02/17) Section 1.22 I have only ticked the box which states " I have met the Knowledge of language and life requirement to qualify for settlement on or after 28th October 2013 " and not ticked the rest since I don't meet any of them completely (have...

(child was born in UK but was Indian citizen first, and is now a British citizen). 2) If yes, then how much time does it take currently to get RoA within UK? 3) Now suppose instead of RoA, If child gets British passport, then ca...

Re: Baby Born in UK - ILR

Yes, you may skip ILR application for baby, since after you are granted ILR, then you can register your baby as BC using form MN1, under section 1(3). Now, this is assuming your ILR application is straightforward and that you are indeed granted ILR. Please go through other sections of this forum to ...

We are Indian nationals currently and baby also has Indian passport, so therefore would a CoE on an Indian passport become illegal in Indian law? (since a foreign citizen should not be holding an Indian passport in the first place).

Re: Parents got ILR but baby Tier 2 Visa till 20 Jan 2015

1) If we decide to go for child's Certificate of Entitlement to Right of Abode (CoE/RoA), instead of British passport, then is BC registration via form MN1 required? 2) If suppose, child with CoE stays outside UK for lengthy periods (>5 yrs) and then wishes to obtain British passport, is that allowed?

Re: Parents got ILR but baby Tier 2 Visa till 20 Jan 2015

Baby is not exempted from overstaying until baby is granted British citizenship . 1) So, in your opinion should I process baby's ILR visa first OR submit MN1 directly? 2) Also, on the date UKBA receives the MN1 application and till such time a decision is confirmed - does the current leave for baby...

Parents got ILR but baby Tier 2 Visa till 20 Jan 2015

Hi, Me and my dependants (spouse & UK born baby) were holding Tier-2 ICT visa valid till 20 Jan 2015. Then me and my spouse were granted ILR on 3 Jan 2015 (waiting for BRP card). So, is there a risk that the baby breaches immigration conditions by overstaying if we don't apply for form MN1 by 20 Jan...

28 day calculation

Hi,

ICT-2 Visa Stamped: 20 Jan 2010

First entry: 13 Mar 2010

Earliest date to go to Premium centre (28 day rule) --> (20 Jan 2010 + 5 years = 20 Jan 2015) - 28 days = 23 Dec 2014.

Is this correct? Please let me know the exact date.

Regards,
