Thank you for the reply.

It was so that they can spend some time with my better half when am away for 6 weeks for work. Looks like they wont be able to stay longer than 2 weeks in that case?

Parents Sponsorship

Hello all
Can you sponsor/invite your parents to UK when you are working abroad (outside UK/EU) and going to UK for 2 weeks (time off)?

It will be their first visa so don't want it to be rejected due working abroad situation.

any help/suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for replies. Seems like it can cause problems. Worst come I will take up the job in the meantime and get some permanent employment here in UK from Feb 2019. Visa application will be in May 2019. I can explain the reason of overseas employment due to downturn in the industry. I ...

What cane be done to reduce the impact? If not ILR, would the application for further leave to remain be a safe step when it comes to applying?

ILR

Hello all
My first tier 1 was issued on 27 mar 2009 and i entered UK on 12 May 2009, approx 45 days after grant of leave.
my second extension is valid until 14 may 2014.

Wondering when can i apply for ILR at the earliest?
