Even if they ask for more stuff its nothing to worry about, probably more bank statements or things like that. Nearly everyone gets that email lol you just have to wait it out, some people get their visa sooner and some later. I got that email back in march or so and my husband got his visa at 10 months. They're probably doing more checks or stuff

Can anyone tell me, is the 24 week waiting time, the maximum limit or can they go over?

Lilstar Same thing happened to me, eventually they stop replying, keep emailing them, soon you'll get the "escalate you case" email. And even then you might get this; 'Pre assessment and online verification conducted - Application is under process for further enquiries – checks' Don't worry its norm...

I think that question is asking how you are related to eachother? For example, uncles son or daughter. I'm sure everyone was clicking "other relative" I'm sure I did too.

Yes its 6 months payslips and 6 months bank statements showing pay coming in. You should wait. You have to wait, he needs to be in the job for at least 6 months. Dont stress or rush it, you have pleny of time to get everything together

Sophia20, I think you are one of the unlucky ones that have to wait for longer than 12 weeks but I really do hope that you get your visa and everything works out. If they are doing employment checks we are getting to end of the month so HMRC should be able to tell them about current employment situ...
