1. For FLR(M) Life in the UK test is not required, its required for settlement/ilr. FLR m 2 requirements are, english language and financial requirement of 18,600 per year. 2. UK degree, transcript, passports, LIUK test and bank statements. payment through debit card. I also submitted royal mail Special delivery return envelope with my application so that they return my docs in it.

For FLR(m), Self employed case: Your/spouse last financial year's earnings with invoices, bank statements and tax returns of £22,400 (spouse +child). (apr 2013 to apr2014). Then you must have had to satisfy the Financial Requirement and would have been granted leave for 2.5 years. my husband got ILR on the basis of 10 years. i was on pbs dependent visa since 2006.
Now i switched to FLR(M).
