Re: Is there a 28 day rule for naturalization application?

NCS not PCS and yes, they check your application and photocopy all your documents and give them back to you. NCS charges a fee for this service to send your application. When you receive your approval letter, you will either get a combined letter (approval and invitation to ceremony) or two separat...

Re: Is there a 28 day rule for naturalization application?

There is no 28 day rule. You can only apply exactly 12 months after ILR unless married to a British Citizen. Also, the date of application is the date+1 day that the UKVI receives your application, not the date of posting or NCS application submission. You also need to make 100% sure that when you ...

Is there a 28 day rule for naturalization application?

Quick question, I recently got my ILR (after 5y of Tier 1 (G)). I understand I need to have 12 months of stay in UK under ILR before I can apply but is there a 28 day period before the completion of 12 months that I can apply (just like in Tier 1). I.e. if my 1 year period completes on 30-Mar-2015 t...

Question 11L on SET(O) Form

I am applying Tier 1 to ILR. One question not sure of. In 11L, it says: For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 1 (General) migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules. I was a student before I was granted Tier 1. My student visa is in th...

Re: 7.11 How long have you lived in the UK

Hi I have mentioned only the qualifying time for ILR in question 7.11 and my application is approved on the same day of appointment. So, I think for ILR applicants you need to mention the time which is applicable for ILR not your other stays on different visas. Thanks everyone Anyone else who have ...

Re: Set O Form - Question about degree

Thanks for your reply ! Thing is I would need to take 1 or 2 days off from work and go to a different city etc etc and wondering if that would be worth the hassle. If I had it would have included for sure.

Thank you

Set O Form - Question about degree

Hi guys, quick question. I will be applying for ILR soon via premium appointment. Question is about a supporting document - degree certificate. I already showed the degree in my Tier 1 renewal so I guess I don't need to include it? BUT, for the english language requirement, I would be relying on my ...

Re: Set (O) Qestion 6.1

6.1 When did you (the main applicant) first enter the UK? This refers to the date of your first entry into the UK at the beginning of the period of stay on which this application is based. My period for ILR starts from 10/April/2009 but I was on other visa before. Should I put 10/April/2009 here OR...

28 days

Hi all, this may be a stupid question but per the guidance for ILR (below), should not apply more than 28 days before qualification period ends. For me, this period would end on 20 Apr 2014 and I just took PEO appointment for 24 Mar 2014. If I do one date minus other in excel it gives me 27 so hopef...
