Re: Advice- Renewing Foreign Passport while waiting on Citizenship application

Thanks. I've now been granted citizenship but was already given an appointment in late November to renew my native foreign passport . I can use that appointment to surrender my native passport too. I've requested dates for citizenship ceremony from my council. If I do get a date in early part of Nov...

Advice- Renewing Foreign Passport while waiting on Citizenship application

Hi, My passport expired a few days before I applied for UK Citizenship in July this year. I am waiting on my application. However, the current processing timelines appear to be avg 6 months. Re: Mistake on Naturalisation application

Update: I sent an email to the two email IDs listed in this thread and also uploaded a letter pdf to UKVCAS explaining the teeny weeny error in my application and even if this last document pdf gets submitted at the time of biometrics, that's fine. I've sent emails too, so that gives me some peace : )

Re: Mistake on Naturalisation application

Hi, I made one tiny error in my naturalisation application about the date I first arrived in UK. I listed the month wrong. I've already submitted my documents on UKVCAS although it still allows documents to be uploaded, but I can't see a submit option for this extra clarification letter/pdf I've dra...

List of professionally acceptable refrees

Hi all, In the Nationality Policy General Information published this year in February 2021, the Refree section does not list the acceptable professions. Google search shows old information from this forum and other blogs. How do we construe what the acceptable refree is based on the Nationality Poli...

Passport expiring

Hi, I'll be completing 12 months on ILR in late June 2021. My native passport is expiring mid-July 2021. If I apply for naturalisation in July 2021, is there any need to renew my native passport especially if the naturalisation application is made online?

Thanks.

Hi spikky
I managed to sent 16 files by using yahoo mail in one single email. Every file was less than 6mb. Also total file size (of 16 files) was less than 25mb
I hope you can manage as well

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

The UKVI caseworkers are probably making decisions on the applications (pending biometrics) as they are asking for the evidence via email now. This means the backlog can be cleared very quickly when the biometrics centres are opened again. I suggest everyone to apply online as normal and supply evi...
