Re: Tier 2 - Skilled Worker Visa to ILR

If I apply CoS for a year then are you saying that I can apply skilled worker visa for a year? You don't apply for a CoS, your sponsor assigns one to you. When after having been assigned the CoS you apply for a visa the HO will determine its validity period which will depend on the work period ...

Re: Tier 2 - Skilled Worker Visa to ILR

Many Thanks for your response. Further queries Will there be any impact on the 10 years long residence ILR if I switch from Tier 2 General to Skilled Worker visa? No. As long as you can show 10 years continuous and lawful residence you can change jobs as many times as you like. What is the minimum ...

Tier 2 - Skilled Worker Visa to ILR

Hello Experts, I had a Tier 2 ICT visa (sponsored by employer 1) started on Jan-2011 and I am eligible for 10 years long residence ILR which is due on May-2022. My wife and child are on dependent visas and she is eligible for 10 years long residence ILR on Aug-2022. There was a year gap in between ...

Re: ILR (T2G) - 10 years long term residency

But if I move to ILR then will it not invalidate the PBS Dependent Visa? Currently, my wife is on a PBS Dependent visa as I am on T2G visa.

If she continues on the PBS Dependent visa and applies for ILR, will not get refused as her dependent visa is already invalidated?

Re: IELTS - 10 yrs Long residence ILR

It also says further down GESE Grade 5. You are overthinking and possibly not reading the table correctly. Each row is a test that HO accepts. She simply needs the B1 of one of the tests on the list. The B1 IESI is not the ONLY one, it is the minimum grade specifically for that test stated on that ...

Re: IELTS - 10 yrs Long residence ILR

You really are trying to split hairs. She can do Trinity B1 GESE test OR the Trinity B1 ISEI test OR the B1 IELTS SELT for UKVI test OR the B1 IELTS SELT Consortium Life Skills. ANY of them are suitable. It is not a case of only ONE is the correct one. Apologies. But HO document says Trinity "B1 ...

Re: IELTS - 10 yrs Long residence ILR

She can do any B1 test on the HO approved list that meets the requirement for ILR, i.e. trinity or IELTS. Confusion. HO document says, SELT Level: B1 and Min Grade required: ISEI . Then how does "B1 SELT – GESE Grade 5" exam meets the ILR requirement? Shouldn't it be "B1 SELT – ISE I" ? Please help. ...

You can not transfer to T2 General from ICT without a one year cooling off period either outside the UK or on a non PBS visa in the UK.

Unless you got your ICT way back in 2012 or before?
I can change from T2ICT to T2G because its Pre 2011 April.

B1 is higher than A1, so yes, it will cover FLR(M).
Which B1? IELTS Life Skills - B1 or IELTS for UKVI - B1?
