Re: Confused about allowed length of stay

So to clarify, you are saying that she can stay for up to six months but if she does then it might have a bad effect on future visitor visa applications. But it won't have any effect on the Family of a sealed person visa because that is not a visitor visa?

Re: Questions about Standard Visitor Visa for my Chinese wif

Thanks for your reply :) Can you elaborate on what you mean by ‘Reason to return are always the key here’ Also I am confused as to why it would be so difficult to gain a visit visa with a spouse in the UK, is that not what they are for? It seems silly that it is almost impossible for my wife to come ...

Questions about Standard Visitor Visa for my Chinese wife

I have a few questions regarding the Standard Visitor Visa, specifically to do with a Chinese person applying for it which qualifies them for a 2-year multiple entry visa from my understanding of the following article: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/pm-announces-significant-changes-to-visitor ...

Re: UK visa for my wife

I presume you mean either have those savings, or have had an income of equivalent to £18,000 per year (i can't remember the exact amount) for 6 months.

Am I correct or is it necessary to have both of those requirements?

Re: Finance Clarification for Remain in UK with Family visa.

For the 5 year route, is there a way to get around having the £18,600 per year income, such as having a certain amount of money in your bank for a certain amount of time. At the moment I am a student and therefore can't get a job with that income at this point in time, but it is possible that ...

Re: Finance Clarification for Remain in UK with Family visa.

hi :)

This is the link for what we are looking at:
https://www.gov.uk/remain-in-uk-family/eligibility

It says that there is a 2-year route and a 5-year route.

Am i right in thinking we can apply for the 2-year route, or is that only for people who have previously had a partner visa?
