Re: FLR (FP) Extension - Wrong Visa Type On IHS Website?

Hi guys, if you have recently applied for FLR (FP), could you please advise? I'm stuck due to this issue. As far as I am aware i've completed the correct form (online) for FLR (FP) but when it comes onto the payment page for Immigration Health Surcharge, it shows the visa type as FLR (M) for some re...

FLR (FP) Extension - Wrong Visa Type On IHS Website?

Hi, I would appreciate some advice on FLR (FP) extension online application- I have just completed the online application and moved on to Immigration Health Surcharge website to pay. However, I just noticed the visa type is mentioned as 'Marriage - FLR(M)' in their website. My application is, as men...

Re: Citizenship ceremony scheduling process

I got my naturalisation application approved and received the letter from Home office. It was mentioned on the letter that I need to call City Council to schedule it. When I called them yesterday, they told me that council will automatically schedule the ceremony. Today afternoon, I got a letter fr...

Re: Rejected application because of English Test

Hi ennadi80 I am also in a similar situation- my wife needs to do A1 test but can't due to her passport being held at the HO. After speaking with a number of UKVI agents, we've tried 'online document request' (twice) but nothing happened. We also sent a letter to the Sheffield team (as the passport ...

FLR(M) English requirement

Hi all Hope you are well. I am in a difficult situation regarding my wife's UK visa. A bit of background info- we applied for FLR (FP) visa (I as the main applicant and my wife as dependent) in December 2017. I then successfully varied mine to ILR(LR) via premium service in February 2018. However my...

Re: Dependant's status while I'm applying for ILR (t1 ent ro

Hi Nzekells, Appreciate your suggestion but the problem I have is the requirements of the entrepreneur extension. Although i'm running my business and doing I would say not bad, it would be nearly impossible to show that I've meet all the requirements e.g. invest £50k, x2 job creation due to some st...

Re: Dependant's status while I'm applying for ILR (t1 ent ro

Thanks a lot. I don't think I would be able to satisfy all the requirements for a T1E extension, although I'm genuinely working under my limited company. My business's turnover was about £50k plus VAT for the last financial year. So fulfilling all the requirements is not an option for me. Also, if m...

Re: Dependant's status while I'm applying for ILR (t1 ent ro

Thanks very much for the prompt reply. I promise this will be my last question re this topic- I've just read on this forum that applying for FLR just to buy some time (1 month in my case) to quality for ILR is frowned upon by the HO and also could result in ILR application being refused! Given this ...

Re: Dependant's status while I'm applying for ILR (t1 ent ro

Thanks a lot Nzekells. I have another question on the back of your answer- when I vary my FLR to an ILR application, what would be my wife's status (as you said I can't include her as a dependant on my ILR application)? In other words, what are the options for the people on dependant visas when thei...

Dependant's status while I'm applying for ILR (t1 ent route)

Hi gurus My T1 entrepreneur visa is due to end in 15th December 2017. I will be eligible for ILR application in 15th February 2018 (10 years). I have this 2 months gap between my current visa expiry date and the ILR eligible date as stated above. Now even if I apply 28 days before the completion of ...

Wife added as additional director

Hi everyone

I got my T1 Entrepreneur visa in December 2014 as sole director of my business (50k route). Last week I included my wife as the 2nd director to my business. Now I am wondering if having a 2nd director for my business would impact my visa renewal, which is due in December 2017?

Regards :)
