make sure you apply the COS under priority , it cost extra, but you are most likely to receive the cos within 10days.

Technically, your cousin can provide you a supporting letter on accommodation. However, its purely depends on the case officer, if you are already in the UK for a while and now inviting a 'kid' as well on 'shared' accommodation 'may' not convince them. Again, as i said, it depends on the case officer.

Yes, you can very well use the one-day premium mode to switch your visa. You can apply this within the country, no need to return to your home country. it was the case earlier, but they changed this rule last year. it is always better to include your family members in the new COS, as they are already in the country, but they can go for stamping latter.

it has to be valid during the application processing period.

if you have a valid degree, get a English requirement letter(medium of language is english) from the college and submit along with your application
