It would depend on the circumstances as to why you were an overstayer. If for example, you had submitted an application that was deemed invalid but you made a subsequent application which was successful, then it may be decided that your time as an overstayer is not a reason for you to be refused. HI

I wonder if any one can help me here i have been in uk on discretionary leave to remain for 6 years when i applied on feb 2014 for ilr i had done my life in uk test but was exempt from English requirement and was granted on 14th of may would i still be exempt for naturalisation ?
