Re: November 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

I know I used to read messages of people saying 'good luck' and 'it will come soon' and I never really believed it. My application was approved just before it completed five months. Money spent £50 plus books roughly £20 - Life in the UK test £100ish English Test ages ago £50 NCS £906 Naturalisatio...

Re: November 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

right, I had a feeling I would soon be coming here to complain again but today I heard my letter box open and ran to it only to see the brown envelope with my name on it. strangely, it wasn't the approval letter but the ceremony invitation from the council. So I rang the council and asked where's t...

Re: November 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

Not being funny but for what I have read here from people who asked questions on FOI/FOA thing they disclosed that they receive around 8,000 applications every month. Okay, fine, so that's £8,000,000 (eight million pounds) received by the home office to process them every month. Now is anyone under ...

Re: November 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

What the hell happened to everyone else who applied in November????? Am I the only one left waiting? Some people who applied in March have already received theirs... IT'S A JOKE! Re: November 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

Hi everyone

It looks like very few people have received their approval letters in the last few weeks.
Reading some of the posts in other threads (months) seems like most people received theirs within a few weeks of submission.

Why not us?

Re: NON EEA FAMILY MEMBER - NATURALISATION

Hi I'm not Jambo Guru but I'm in the same boat as you are. Please see the following link, it explains a lot. It doesn't matter what date you PR sticker is, you already have PR status immediately after 5 years of date of marriage. This is what you do next (i.e. NCS) http://www.wandsworth.gov.uk/info/...

For anyone applying I would recommend sending a Postal Order, which I did, and received the Letter of Receipt within two days and the COA the day after. It makes life much easier I think :-)
