Re: Set m - has the form changed

Hi As I am completing the set m form, I noticed that there is a change in the English test. When I did a test run a few days ago, it asked me for a selt number but now it's just a yes or a no but the description says, "did you meet the knowledge of English requirement as part of an indefinite leave ...

Re: FLR M Extension - English Language Requirements

Hi, I read the following from https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-fm-se-family-members-specified-evidence and have a question: 32D. If an applicant applying for limited leave to enter or remain under Part 8 or Appendix FM submits an English language test ...

Re: FLR M Extension - English Language Requirements

Thanks wxyuanilr for your answer. I read the link you posted and my understanding is that a test has to satisfy these 3 conditions if it is to be used again (outside its validity) (a) from an approved test provider, or (b) in respect of an approved test, or (c) from an approved test centre, That is ...

Hi, Apologies if this has been answered previously but i couldn't find an answer. Would appreciate if someone could shed some light on it. My wife gave B1.1 when she applied for FLR m in May 2014. Re: 4 days short of ILR

Thank you Razi. The 28 days will make it 21/04/2014 and my visa expires on 18/04/2014. I will be taking a slight risk and sending application via post and will hope that case worker will use discretion to disregard the shortfall of 4 days. This has happened before and we have examples on this forum ...

Re: 4 days short of ILR

Thanks Vinny for the response. I have read the information you pointed me towards and have decided to go for a postal application as that will help cover my shortfall. The next question is about my wife. I got married in 2012 December so after the new rules came into effect i.e. my wife can apply ...

4 days short of ILR

Hi guys, I have frequently visited this forum for guidance and have to say that this is a great resource and thank you to the team for making it possible.
