ICT visa with local contract

For Tier 2 ICT visas, can the company hire employees with local contracts, meaning a work contract with the company in the UK?

I assume the more normal case for ICT is working in the UK but having a foreign contract with whatever office the employee transferred from.

Maybe I didn't phrase this quite right. My question I guess is whether the company can give a local, UK contract under the ICT visa? I imagine the most common contract for an ICT is where the employee is seconded and the salary is paid overseas, etc. I haven't been able to find any information on ...

Hi, After qualifying and receiving an ICT visa, is it OK to technically terminate employment at the foreign office, and then be rehired by the UK office the same day? The reason is that this would be much easier for my company to handle internally (paperwork, taxes, etc.). I'm not sure if UK ...
