I had 2 applications, 1 for me, 1 for my son.

I sent both passports to the HCI in 1 envelope and also sent 1 Special Delivery envelope. They posted both passports and the 2 OCI books back to me in the 1 envelope

You should email the OCI team in London, there may be a problem with your photos/paperwork.

They will not contact you, it is down to you to email them

I have applied for OCI for myself and my son.

For collection by post, do I have to send 2 x Special Delivery envelopes or will they send both passports back to me in the same envelope?

Would like to add that my wifes Indian passport was issued before she married me so therefore the name is different. Will they kick up a fuss?

You don't need to book an appointment

Once you have filled in the form online, print it off, get the 2"x2" photos

Go to VFS Global in Hayes

In my experience, people with appointments are seen no sooner than people that just turn up on the day

You should get the passport back within 5 working days
