I just spoke to a solicitor who said that income support is not accepted?

Do you think its sufficient to have carers allowance, income support and a p/t job?

Do you know of any successful cases with c/a? I am just very worried because I have never come across such scenarios and I am not sure of what documents will be required of me?

an advisor at a local comunity centre... although on the other hand i spoke to one solicitor who said this is not the case....

Also what does 'without recourse to public funds mean'?

secondly im v confused about the carers allowance making a person exempt? As somebody told me it may not be the case and that nowadays (2014) it is much more difficult to attain a visa whilst on c/a etc....
