Yes, that's correct. Once you have landed, you are considered present in the UK on that day.

It is any part of the day. 25th is a Saturday, so date of application will be the Monday. Thank you for the information. But I was giving the example dates. Hi , I got one doubt regarding day the application received by HO. Ex If I have landed 14.30 in UK say on April 25th 2010 and if I submit 24th to NCS and HO receives the application on 25th then does it mean I am physically present 5 years ago. Yes, you should be fine, as the printout was given to you by the NCS itself. Additionally I've also now seen the same confirmed by the Settlement Ops team under the ILR forum.
