Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

Hi Mido,

It will be helpful to the caseworker in Liverpool if you write a detailed cover letter explaining your situation and include it with your application and supporting documentation. They do read them.

Good luck.

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

What's your nationalities if you don't mind me asking? Seems like I was lucky to get the COA with right to work at first go. I keep reading about the short COA being sent out. The mis-placement of your marriage certificate may have delayed the COA but doubt it delayed the processing of the RC. I thi...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

Hi cypriotExpat, Thanks. I am American and my wife is Romanian. I requested my passport and marriage certificate back the day I received my COA. They both arrived in the envelope I provided to them. My RC was sent using their envelope and arrived 3-4 days after my RC was printed. I'm guessing yours ...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

Hi again Jahid, One more thing to clarify for you. The EEA2 Application can be a little confusing regarding the documents needed to prove your EEA National wife is economically Self-Sufficient. I've copied the most relevant portion that I feel explains exactly what you need. This was taken from page...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

Hi Jadhid, #1 CSI covers both my wife and I. Both of us are covered and this is the requirement. The insurance company is AXA. Not sure of the cost as my employer pays for it. Try this link to get a quote from an insurance company (http://www.activequote.com/health-insurance/comprehensive-sickness-i...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

Hi Jahid, #1 I provided evidence of CSI that covers both my wife and I. #2 My wife is exercising treaty rights as self-sufficient based on me having a job in UK so I sent 3 joint bank statements, 3 payslips, contract from employer and letter from employer stating I still worked there as of time appl...

Re: Online Form for Requesting Return of Documents

@GMB Please update this thread when you receive your passports. I'm thinking to wait until I receive COA before I request them back. I noticed a trend on this board that once COA is received and soon after the request is made, that passport/documents seem to arrive with residence card included in no...

Online Form for Requesting Return of Documents

Hi All, On the UK Visa and Immigration online application for returning documents there is a section for inputting a "royal mail or courier reference number." Anyone know if this refers to the tracking number of the original RM package that I sent to Home Office or if it refers to the self-addressed...

Also, how did you organise your supporting documents (example: folder with clear pockets) and did you include a cover letter? As much detail would be appreciated. Tha...

@Stoli Thanks for advise. went out and bought a portable file folder for just that purpose. @Bubba I submit tomorrow so incorporated your wording into my cover letter. Re: EEA4 fast processing times or wishful thinking

Hi Hubba,

Thanks for the info.

Please can you clarify the difference between Employment Letter and Employment Contract? I have a contract which states my salary, job description, etc. What should be in this letter?

Thanks for your help.

Re: EEA4 fast processing times or wishful thinking

Hi Hubba, Congrats on your success. I'm thinking of submitting my EEA2 application with my EEA national wife exercising Treaty Rights as Self-Sufficient. We've been here in UK since February when I started my job. Originally she wanted to apply as a Jobseeker but after all the stories I read about p...

Re: Help ! The NIN of my husband has been denied - using Cod

Hi Chaoclive, That would be the easiest route but I don't understand why they have Jobseeker as an option if they aren't going to approve EEA2s using that method. From what I gather my EEA national wife also qualifies as Self Sufficient. We have CSI and a joint bank account that my salary goes into ...

Hi ReubenH,

Please can you walk me through your first submission and the timeline? Did you not get a COA the first time around? How long did it take for you to get refusal letter from date of submission?

Thanks for the info.

Re: EEA2 Rejected under "jobseeker" route. Asked to leave. H

Does anyone get a residence card when a partner is exercising treaty rights as a jobseeker? My biggest fear is that I submit the EEA2 application and then they don't return my passport which I need for work travel. She is the definition of a new jobseeker in that we arrived in UK for her to "seek wo...

Re: EEA2 Rejected under "jobseeker" route. Asked to leave. H

Would I have a better chance of my EEA2 being approved if I chose the Self-Sufficient option instead of Jobseeker for my EEA National wife? After doing a bit of reading perhaps I qualify. I have a job that supports us both and we both have AXA Health Insurance through my work (How do I verify that i...

Re: EEA2 Rejected under "jobseeker" route. Asked to leave. H

If anyone knows how to register as a Jobseeker online or in person WITHOUT collecting Jobseeker Allowances I would love to know. I'm about to send my EEA2 application in but still a bit confused about my EEA National wife exercising Treaty Rights as a Jobseeker. Background: I'm non-EEA, wife is EEA ...

Re: Help ! The NIN of my husband has been denied - using Cod

I have a question about the Jobseeking route for EEA2 Residence Card. How does my EEA National spouse prove she is a Jobseeker? Of course I've read in the EEA2 application for what is required as proof but I don't understand the part about needing "proof of receipt of Jobseeker’s Allowance or nation...

Is there anything else I need to put in the cover letter? I didn't realise a letter was necessary so I'm glad you mentioned it. Any advice you can offer about that would be appreciated. Thanks.
