Re: Non-EU applications for Settled and Pre-Settled status - Criteria and outcomes

I feel like an idiot that I can't figure this out but... I (non-EU) and unmarried partner (EU) arrived in January 2014. Got the 6 month FP and then got the 5 year residence card based on our relationship and him exercising rights. However, I only have the paper document (I had requested my passport ...

Re: Please help - EEA FP Refused - Proving intent to travel.

Im wondering if the real underlying reason is they are suspecting a sham marriage? What about if the applicant includes some photos of the with the family (there and potentially if any visits to DK), some payslips showing wage and name of the employer from various times, and some print outs of poten...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

Quick update: We re-entered the UK 2 days ago without any problems. My partner's application is still being processed and his EEA Family Permit expired 2 months ago. The immigration officer didn't ask us any questions and we didn't have to show the COA or any of the other documents! We were surpris...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

Hi there, I also received the same letter with my returned passport advising me to apply for another EEA Family Permit if I wanted to travel and re-enter the UK in my situation (pending EEA Res Card application). [As a side note: I received my Res Card late last week so this no longer applies to me...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

How the hell can I do that if they HAVE my original documentation already?! Christ.. Has anyone traveled on the COA and passport while waiting? Im a non-visa national, b...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

I've been lurking and watching this thread for a while but.. I am also 30 December applicant - US/Sweden unmarried partners. I entered with two Family Permits and received the COA with right to work back in January, but still waiting on the RC. We requested passports back two weeks ago - took 5 busi...

Applying for second FP after living in UK for last 5 months

All- I am hoping someone can chime in here with guidance. I am filling out an application for a second EEA FP after utilizing my first one and living in the UK for 5 months searching for a job (for various reasons I entered a month after my visa became valid). My EEA Unmarried Partner has also been ...

Re: Confused on next step: EEA2 or renew FP

Bump.

Just for ease of answering, would like opinion on the following:

Can I/we just reapply for a new FP from Sweden? Will the fact that we have been living in the UK the last 4 or 5 months have any impact on the application, even if he has been exercising treaty rights by jobseeking?

Re: Confused on next step: EEA2 or renew FP

Thanks for the input everyone! I am concerned that I will get the CoA back without right to work, as I think there was an instance on here recently where someone did have the FP, unmarried partners, and still was refused right to work. That and the current "sneakiness" with the language about callin...

Confused on next step: EEA2 or renew FP

For various reasons I had my FP start from mid-December, so my FP is due to expire June 15. Unfortunately it has taken some time for us to find professional job...
