Re: SET LR - Applied online 3 weeks too early

Posted two links.. check them out. And ur welcome. Hi, just wanted to let you know I found the exact paragraph you were referring to. It asks for 28 days to be used from either my application or determination - whichever is better for the applicant. Thank you! What page of the guide are you reading?

Re: SET LR - Applied online 3 weeks too early

The link you have provided is for 5 year route not for 10 year route. You are correct. Here is the LR guidance. Pg 13. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/605764/long-residence-v15_0.pdf Which means Kaddet clearly made an application befor...

Re: 4 days short of ILR

There is no such rule. This is a concession made by HO. Calculating the specified continuous period Applicants can submit a settlement application up to 28 days before they would reach the end of the specified period. You must calculate the relevant qualifying period by counting backward from which...

Re: Counting of 10 year continuous stay for ILR

As ALL visas count towards long residence, you first entry to the UK will be your visit in March 2011. Based on your first entry, your 10 years lawful residence will complete in March 2021 and you will be eligible to apply for ILR within 28 days of completing your 10 lawful years. Dear ZImba Thank ...

Can overstaying for 28days after Nov 2016 refuse ILR under long stay residency? Anyone with the similar experience? Can HO use their discretion?

Re: ILR - 10 year route

Thanks for that information. I have withdrawn my application on 15/04/2015 and got my new visa on the 29/05/2015. Which is more than 28 days, is that means that I am not eligible for 10 year route? Please clarify. Thanks. I think HO might use their discretion because it was before Nov 2016 but plea...
