Re: EEA4 fast processing times or wishful thinking

Hi,

I meant 24 April - the date when fee was taken from credit card. So, today we have 17. May. So should we still wait for a letter?

Re: EEA case law

Here is an update: In general terms, a permanent residence permit for EU citizens is useful when dealing with the authorities or for administrative formalities. Re: EEA case law

Hi, many thanks for your comment. 1) My understanding was that under EEA regulation PR status will be lost if the EEA national is absent for more than two consecutive years from the UK. So, if an EEA national becomes a British citizen, then under EEA regulation it should not implicate that the Briti...

Re: July 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

Hi,

I applied on 31. July 2014 and I think that my case is straightforward. I have not received a decision yet. For me personally, I can wait as I have time, however it is sad that it takes soooooooooooooooooooooooo long.

Detention

Hi, returning from our holiday my wife was detained at the airport for a couple of minutes, but then released without any further questioning. She was detained "by mistake" based on her last name which is very common in Bangladesh. She was given a form IS 81 and her passport was retained. Then the f...

Re: July 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

I qualified for PR June 2013 where EEA3 application was made later and I received PR card in June 2014. So, I do qualify for British citizenship. I do not see any reason why it takes so long for a decision.

But I have time....:)
