HSMP Spouse's passport expires

Hi friends,
I got a question. My spouse has got a new passport as his previous passport which bears HSPM endorsement is expired. Does he need an endorsement on the new passport or can carry both when travelling?

HSMP approval & extension

Hi friends,

Does any one know that extension of HSMP is considered by HSMP approval date or visa stamping date?

For example if HSMP is approved on 20Aug2007
visa stamped 10Oct2007
When the extension will be due?

Thanks.

If you check your approval letter, it is written that if not applied, you have to make a fresh application with new fee. Better is to ask from Home Office, and post here as well if got any response from them.

Workpermit to HSMP - Regarding FLR

Hi Hari15,
How many years have you got 1 or 2? And visa start date I think will be when it is endorsed on the passport. Not 100% sure.

Hsmp over HSMP

Hsmp extension is given for two years. When you are on 2.8 years on wp then you should apply after 4 months. Already approved Hsmp is on old criteria when second trap was not in place.

Hsmp over HSMP

Hi,
Is it possible that if HSMP is approved then you can apply for another HSMP before the expiry of first one if you do not want to avail first one? This is crazy but some times it suits best. What will be the status of first one if latter one fails?

It is very strange. On my approval letter(14Nov), they have written that if I am in country and want to switch into hsmp, then you are required to use FLR(IED) for further leave to remain. hari15, I remember you also got very recently. Is there any sort of thing written on your approval?

Hi
Can you please make sure is it FLR(HSMP) or FLR(IED). I think for WP people who want to switch it is FLR(IED) and for HSMP people who are already on HSMP & need further extension it is FLR(HSMP).

Hi,
The problem is a kind of fix. If some one has a master degree which is equivalent bachelor here, he is not allowed to show evidence of english from his university. I will say it is nonesense. So only option left is IELTS.

Hi Sohail, I think switching is not a problem but bloody entry clearance is a problem. You have to go back to your home country for new entry clearance. In other words this is not a switching. It is applying a new student viasa. I asked a lawer about switching wp dependent into international student...
