Re: ilr set (o) 6.1 help needed

I guess you are over anxious due to your upcoming appointment which is understable but asking the questions again and again which have already been answered is not a good gesture. Please note that experts give their advice here on voluntarily basis, so we should appreciate their time. To re-answer y...

Re: ILR for Jun 2009 Visa, entered UK in Oct 2010

Hi Argus7, sorry but I beg to differ. The person in question here would be eligible for ILR 28 days before the completion of 5 years from the the date he/she entered the UK. provided he didn't exit and applied for new EC after 28 days of exit and satisfies all other usual conditions (absences, etc.,...

Re: Long Term Stay options in the UK from Tier 2 ICT Visa

As long as remains as Tier 4 main applicant for a year, that should be fine. From the time you become Tier 4 dependent and complete 1 year on that visa, your Tier 2 cooling period will be served. Then you can switch to Tier 2 general category within country but I guess your wife will need to exit an...

Successful PEO/PSC ILR applications

Re: Stops job

Your employer needs to notify UKVI within 10 days of your last day of job. Then UKVI will take a decision to curtail your leave. From the date they take the decision, your visa will be curtailed to 60 days. You either need to look for a new employer who can sponsor you or leave the country. You can ...

Yes, you will have to leave in Feb/Mar 2017 to serve the 12 months cooling period. The people who were granted a Tier 2 ICT entry clearance between Apr-2010 to Apr-2011 have the worst impact of this rule change.....

Re: Shortfall for 5 continuous years

1. I presume that we would both take the date of issue of our visa (16/02/2013) as the start date for the 5 years continuous stay? Yes, if your entry clearance date is also same as your husband's. 2. If my understanding in 1. is correct, then we will not have been in the UK for 5 years by the time t...

Re: Tier 2 Cooling Off Period

Hi, it would be more helpful if you give the exact dates. Anyways, cooling period doesn't apply for your case if you want to come back on Tier 2 ICT long term visa. Please refer to the Paragraph 245GB(e)(ii) of the "Immigration Rules Part 6a", URL is below. https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/syst...

Guys, by any chance did you request your (hopeful) new employer to call the employer helpline number and check the status? If not, please try that as this employer help desk people are very good and they might be able to provide some more info.
