Thanks for the response. My understanding has been that 12 month cool off period applies if you are to switch from tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 general however if one is on any other visa then they can switch to Tier 2 general without any cool off restrictions. Thanks for your response but the issue with my current visa is 'switching'. To move on a Tier 2 General Visa from ICT I can not switch in country and therefore need to apply from my home country after serving cool off period of min 12 months and no employer will offer a future dated appointment ...
