Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

My application was applied on 20/07, according to contact centre and on the "beta" trial site, it was decided on 07/11 After 15 working days, still no letter. Got automated response, that the case still not decided when i chased on 10th working days. So, the status doesnt mean anything on the site.

Im in the process of applying for a New Zealand visa and i must say the service is 100% better. They can give you updated over the phone and you get to...

Re: Travelling Without BRP and British Passport?

one doesnt get issued a passport unless he/she takes the ceremony first. you usually get the passport 2-3 weeks after you take the ceremony not together. if i was you, i would have postponed the ceremony to a date after you return from holiday as like you said, you have to send your BRP after the ce...

Re: Naturalisation - Quick query

just called home office in order to ask whether a Manager of my organisation can act as a 1st referee.
She had a look and said yes, as in the approved list, it has got director/manager/Personnel of a limited company. It doesn't say HR manager or a specific manager of a limited company.

Re: Naturalisation - Quick query

I might ask my friend who is a teacher at school. Just remembered she might sign me as referee.
I know her from a local club for whom I play a sport.

Also just remembered i know a friend who is a qualified driving instructor. I guess either would do ????
