Re: ILR LR questions (SET O refused), Help!!!

Yes, sorry forgot to mention, my SET O was made up with 1.5 years in Tier 1 and 3.5 years in Tier 2.

The issues is with how I initially got my Tier 1 back in 2011.

Sorry about the confusion.

Re: ILR Fees 2017-2018

An alternative would be for the hard-pressed general tax paying public to subsidise - how would that be fair(er)? And I have paid for 2 ILR already so I've paid my way. No one is asking for it to be subsidised, HO weren't loosing money when you paid peanuts for 2 ILRs. So please do respect other me...

Re: Current visa validity afte refusal

When my ILR was refused due to a tax issue in May, I had 17 months left on my Tier 2 G visa.

The CW said I was very lucky as she tried to get my current visa cancelled but the senior CW apparently said that was not necessary.

AR refused

Hi, My AR has now been refused and they have maintained the original decision. They have not addressed the 3 mistakes they made in the original refusal: 1. They claimed I had "amended" my tax returns in 2016 2. And submitted a copy of the amended return with my application. These 2 points are incorr...

If it is accountant mistake, then you can force him to accept the blame. He will lose his license for any false advice.
He is a good friend of mine, who has a small firm. I don't want to throw him under the bus.

ILR with Tax issue refused

Hi all, I went to Croydon yesterday and got a refusal under 322(5) for not declaring the full income at the original tax return, so basically they are saying they refused it for late amendment. I'm still waiting on HMRC (since 03rd March 2016) to do amendments, they did send me a letter with when I ...

Applying for ILR with Tax issue

Hi All, I'm going for ILR this week at Croydon, please read the links below in regards to my case. To give a brief description: I've been in UK since Sept 2007, initially on a Student Visa then PSW and then I switched to Tier 1 General in April 2011. To achieve the required £40,000 pay scale for Tie...

@sifanaeem That nothing, I know some one who is waiting for more than 6 month, and to be frank HMRC is not even obliged to amend if tax year in question is more than 4 years old. :( I'm absolutely fine with them not amending it, I can go to court and say I tried to amend it after I realized my mist...

Re: What to do after ILR is refused due to tax discrepancy

AR will not lead anywhere - being refused due to tax evasion is not an "administrative error". Whether legal recourse / PAP (JR) will succeed or not depends on the merits of the case. IMHO, it will be very hard to convince a judge that having resolved (or having attempted to) any tax discrepancy on...
