Re: Naturalization Application checklist via NCS

Just submit what you think, as guided by the Home Office website, to the NCS borough you chose. They will tell if the documents are correct and others needed.

Re: English language requirement

No, ESOL won't cover both. Both Life in the UK and B1 level English. The Life in the UK test isn't an English language test as such. It tests the knowledge of British law, customs, history and politics. Sorry about that wrong info. I remembered I heard that somewhere... I didn't mean Life in the UK...

Re: Born in britain, but can not get a passport! [URGENT]

Hi! Sorry to hear your frustrations! But I do suggest you calm down and invest for a lot of patience since I believe you may need to go through the process of Naturalisation first. No more reacting, as it will just delay you of getting a passport. To explain simply, being born in UK doesn't mean you...

Re: answering Q2.1

Hi! I have read somewhere that you have to be clear of any immigration violation for 10 years before you apply for citizenship. You must always declare any violation and conviction as it will just be a bigger problem if not, but it's ok if it's more than 10years and was cleared presently.

Re: Query in british citizenship

There is no interview until you finish the Naturalisation ceremony and then submit application for a British passport. When you apply for the naturalisation, it will take a few weeks until you receive a letter to book your ceremony, which you need to attend.
