Hi My wife is facing the similar sort of situation

She got updated her surname on the passport but the BRP card is still as per old passport

Is change of circumstance is the process or does she need to apply for a new BRP? What was your experience

Forgot to mention one more thing - As long as you have a marriage certificate (fron india or within uk) in english adding a surname is relatively easy !

I cant remember exactly the application form, however I am sure you need to submit your degree details in some section in the application form - university start and finish date and details about the course too, this will prove your education in the Uk and will satisfy the english language requireme...

Are these address proof mandatory and should be within a month old? The requirement is not mandatory for paper form applicatiin.. Ukvi is so confusing now..

be careful i would advise not to leave the Uk with this situation until this is sorted, I know some one in similar situation and they were not allowed to enter in to the uk. you are allowed to stay 60days in the uk if your sponsors license is cancelled you should find a job suitable for sposorship, ...

Hi All,
My prospective employer applied on the 18Th og August 2014 for Tier2 visa sponsorship, and they got the license on the 27th August 2014.

Almost 7 days if you exclude the bank holidays. that was quite quick and thought will spread the experience :D
