yes m in uk from last 5 years bab. From my exp, each time i applied for an extension (through my lawyer), I obtained it within a week. If you have waited for already 7 months. It is abnormal and probably they missed your application; alternatively, you were refused because of the materials submitted.

Yes I know, but I have requested HSBC to include this statement in their letter, but they just refused it. I have complaint to the local Monetary Authority, and they have written me a letter confirming that there are no exchange controls in HK, and funds can be freely flow into and out of the count...

Hey this wont be enough since your wife is still a student. Obviously, her source of income comes from her family as well. If she doesnt get a job (whether part-time or not), it wont satisfy the Immigration Department that you can rely on her financially.

first thing is that you and your partner should have 200k in total and both can have access to this 200k. If you want to raise money from a bank instead, it is better that you raise it from other country, otherwise u may be questioned
