Re: CSI health insurance EEA naturalisation applicaation online

Thank you for your answer! Also before submitting naturalisation application I am going to be self sufficient /unemployed for 3 months in 2021. Am I correct that CSI is not required after 31st December 2020 Brexit date? Or the Home Office will still examine my history of 10 past years, including thi...

self sufficiency after maternity

EEA wife has been employed for 2 years. After taking 52 weeks of maternity leave (while still being employed by the company) she left the employment and became self sufficient and got CSI. Her non EEA husband, currently holding EEA RC, is providing for her by transferring funds regularly. Does this ...

Re: EEA PR qualifying conditions: 3 years employed + 2 years self sufficient

Thanks for your reply. The quote from the tribunal seems a bit dubious as it refers to women quitting her job before going on maternity. In the case I mentioned above, wife is still legally employed with the same employer while on maternity and continue receiving her salary as company has an enhance...

Re: How early can you apply for EU family member Permanent Residence Card

I have similar question. I am EU citizen and my husband is non EU, currently he has EU RC valid for 5 years, but before that he had EEA family permit and lived 5 months with it in UK. We came to UK together and got employed straight away and we are still employed. So when can my husband apply for a ...

Re: Proof of extended family member dependency: sister-in-la

Yes, she is married, but her husband's salary is very low. Will it be a factor not to grant her "dependency status?" Yes, when I was living in Egypt, for some time she was living with us. But it will be hard to prove (no utility bills or other similar proofs of address). Could I just mention in it m...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

Hi Nora, I've been following for a while your posts and I really wish you all the best. But I have an impression that your effort will be wasted if you don't follow the UK rules (policies). Your last letter from HO clearly states that you were refused because of invalid passport. And appealing will ...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

I hope you will resolve it soon, Nora. Just this time make it very clear that you are married in UK (forget Islamic marriage and don't send any videos from that!). And that you have common finances (bank account) and bills on your name as a proof of address. No other letters (GYM membership etc) doe...

https://www.gov.uk/marriages-civil-part ... s/overview

here is the difference between marriage and civil partnership. try to get married in UK legally and then reapply. and try to get some bills on your names (TV licence, council tax, even internet bill), as it also helps the application.
