Hi Sac, I do understand the importance of Tax returs. But my situation is different. I am on a Work Permit and within last 5 years I worked for two companies. However my previous company gave me original P45 at the time of relieving. But they never gave any original P60s, as they usually pay a diff...

Re: oh

I have a question. My partner was in the UK on wp from December 2005. He got his hsmp approval in March 2006. However he got his flr changed and his passport stamped only in June 2006. Does he still qualify for 4 years ILR or is it 5 years ILR for him ?.

Please give me your thoughts.

Thanks

Hi jhp, Thanks for your valuable input. You said you had the same question when you applied last year..When exactly did you apply? and did you apply for HSMP1 or Tier1 General? You also mentioned that you know a lot of people who applied with payslips and P60 and got their cases approved. Could you...

Re: combination of payslip and p60

P60 and payslips are seperate evidences. I had the same question when I applied last year and thre were a lot of people who got it approved with P60 and payslips. The theory was although P60 was from the employer it was prepared for the tax man. Having said this I am a little out of touch these days...

I think then its highly likely that my case will also be rejected due to this reason. What documents are you guys thinking of providing if we apply again? No tax document is available by this time, my company will never give a letter mentioning the salary breakup as it is not within their policies,...

Interesting, informative thread. Sorry I'm joining the party bit late. I'm in financial IT services industry and the place I work at has undergone several rounds of redundancies (at all levels) since the past few months. I don't agree with that bit on during a downturn the UK needs immigrants. While in theory it sounds good , in practise its not going to go well with the masses. With a general election looming an a recession very likely immigration just will not go well with people who have been made redundant. I thi...
