Re: Interview in naturalisation case

Hi all, My husband applied for naturalisation in April. About a week ago we contacted the Home Office to request an update as it is now past the 6 month estimate. This morning we received a letter requesting that we both attend an interview in Liverpool next month, attached to the letter was an inf...

Re: TRANFER PR ONTO BRP - NTL??

If it is a biometric card that you want and presumably you are a non-EEA national you might be able to get one through re-applying for a new PR card through form EEA(PR ) as the Home Office now require non-EEA nationals to have biometric cards. It's much cheaper too. BRP-NTL seems to be only for pe...

Re: TRANFER PR ONTO BRP - NTL??

Waste of £260 imho :D hahahaha Unless your passport expired and you'd rather have a brp with ur new passport ? The question was, is the PR card equivalent to ILR for the purpose of this application? If I needed financial advise I would have asked that question. So unless you are able to answer the ...

Thanks for reply. There is no clear advantage, I have my reasons. Are you able to advise if the PR card is equivalent to ILR for the purpose of this application. Thanks

TRANFER PR ONTO BRP - NTL??

I currenctly hold a Permanent Resident Card via form EEA4. I was thinking of applying for BRP-NTL sometime soon. The application form says "Someone Who Already Has Indefinite LeaveTo Enter Or Remain In The UK". Am i right in thinking the PR card is equivalent to Indefinite LeaveTo Enter Or Remain In...

Re: Naturalisation as EEA family member..

Thanks Jambo for your reply. It's cleared things and I will possibly go for opt 1 as we have evidence exercising treaty rights from my recent application for PR card. 1 final question and yes I did go through the Q&A this time :) and looked online but am still not sure about the answer. This is to d...

Naturalisation as EEA family member..

I just need to clarify a few things. This is my story I moved to the UK in February 2007 on a working holiday visa valid for 2 years. Met my wife ( an EEA national) and we got married in November 2008. Received my residence card in July 2009 valid till July 2014. Automatically qualified for PR in No...
