What doesn't make sense to me is why they asked for black birth certificate for a child who was born in 2013 but not for other one? Do you think rules might be different when he was born?

You must maintain 2 full time job until u get ILR. At the time of ILR application you can show them you are running your business. There is no any issue if your business is going in loss or profit.
