Long-term visa after 6 months

Hi everyone. My parents (Belarusian citizens) are going to apply for the UK visa. I am a British citizen and I will cover all their expenses while they are in the UK. They have visited UK once five years ago on a 6 months visa and now I'd like them to apply for a longer duration visa. Their current ...

If HO is not happy with the referee, they will write to you to arrange any other.
I hope they will. My biggest fear is that they won't contact me in this case

Re: Referee - director/manager of VAT registered company

As far as I understand, one should be a director or secretary of a limited company (VAT or non-VAT). Not sure what classifies as a manager (secretary?). I believe, it should be okay though. The company has different Secretary, but he is not based in the UK and is not managing day to day business op...

Referee - director/manager of VAT registered company

Hi all. Maybe anyone could help me with my question. Out of all professions stated in the list of referees the only person I can ask is Vice President, EMEA in one international tech company (it's UK entity is VAT registered). He doesn't have "director" or "manager" in his title, but he is the most ...

In the letter which came with new BRC there is nothing about what should I do with old card. Does it mean that I should keep it for now or better send it to Home Office? So did u receive any other confirmation rather than the consent to proceed. In total how many months did u have to wait. And fina...

Re: EU family member- issues at airport

Hi,
Wizzair and I think Ryanair do visa checks at check-in desks in some airports. Always double check it with them in Luton. I also had same issue once in Krakow (Poland). I think it's their policy. Never had this issue with any other airline and I'm flying quite often

That will all depend on the fact of your case and if your wife is presently exercising treaty rights.
Hi Obie,
Thank you for reply. She is exercising treaty rights.

PS Another way I was thinking about is tier-2 visa with sponsorship from my employer which company can provide.

Retain rights of residence. Advice

Hi everyone, Need your advice. Me and my wife are going to live separately. As far as I know if we are not divorced officially I can remain in UK until she exercises her treaty rights. But when it comes to Indefinite leave to remain will I be able to apply for it if we are leaving separately? Or ano...

Re: Expiring passport and residence card

Hello, If your residence permit is stamped in the passport then you should be able to use that, together with new valid passport. If separate card (blue trifold?) and no passport number then suggest can be used ok. Why do you have to travel to your country to obtain the passport? Embassy here would...

We used two different forms, as I understood we couldn't use one, it is only possible to add children in form. But payment details were same.
