Only one way for an individual, make a Subject Access Request directly to the police, Police Scotland for Scotland of course. The DBS will not have cautions on it, a lot of people have fallen afoul of this.

Just remember that just because they gave you a passport it doesn't make you a citizen. It could lead to large problems for you later on, read more.

Re: 21 days to book ceremony lapsed

There is no such rule, it's just a case management thing. If they just said book within 90 days how many people would try turn up on day 90 or even after? By saying book within 21 days it means that almost everybody will book within the 90 day limit.

I'm pretty sure letting agents and landlords aren't happy doing the UKVIs job either. But from the link you provided it clearly states: What your landlord must do ... make copies of your documents and keep them until you leave the property From the list of documents you must provide : As an ILR hold...

There are, but you must apply for asylum within a reasonable time of arriving in the UK. At the moment they only disregard around 30 days, by discretion.

I don't think this will be an issue as long as you pay the fine. I think you can treat the same as, say, a parking fine at a shopping centre.

Have you now filed that missing return and paid the tax?

Well, the HO is sure the certificate is fraudulent, so there will be at least at 10 year ban.

Yes, they can revoke your IRL for deception.

Haven't you understood what was pointed out earlier in the thread? Your BRP will be invalid automatically once you have attended your BC ceremony. Why would it matter though? For a visa national, they show their BRP to foreign airline staff who have no idea that it's invalid so they can get on the ...

Re: Return of Documents: Non-critical...but critical

Maybe try some of these links? (just check the dates). The reason is after a refusal you're supposed to tell them when are where you're leaving from and they give you back your passport at immigration at the airport. Something similar happened to a friend from the US, they just got an emergency pas...

Re: Refused British Citizenship due to being in the UK Illeg

I called the home office and I was told to wait Till 2019 but NCS said I can apply. Haven't applied yet just wanted to be sure Because I don't wanna lose my money. My story is as follows: Entered the UK illegally in March 2009 and I claimed asylum the minute I landed at Heathrow airport. Was refuse...

Re: Appeal to UT for permission to Appeal is refused

You need to contact the Home Office with your flight details. Someone will return everything to you at the airport and make sure you leave. You will need to go to your own embassy or consulate and get an emergency passport or travel document. This will allow you to return to your home country. Techn...

There is discretion, but it's really up to the caseworker. Sometimes people are lucky, other times not.

How long would your wife need to wait to reduce the absence to 300 days? If it's just 60 days, I would try waiting till it was 300 days and apply for reconsideration.

Many Thanks for reply. Mahm256 Also, what was your age when you entered in 2009? If you were a minor then it'll count in your favour. There are a few cases on the board where people have been granted citizenship because they applied immediately for asylum. Based on your timeline I think you're fine.

Indian. Otherwise they're going to look for a visa. Remember there are a bunch of rules for travelling on an Indian passport after taking up a different citizenship. If you are in within 90 days you're OK. After that, you're still OK for a bit, but will have to pay a fine or something.

1. It is valid forever, don't lose it. Or unless the government revokes your citizenship (unless you're a terrorist, this is never going to happen). 2. Yes, as long as your visa and passport are still valid. Make a copy, or take a photo of your certificate. Take it with, when you come back to the UK...

Re: Lost BRP while on Holiday. How to come back to UK.

Probably be detained at the very least, or even arrested. Once you notify them they cancel and flag the card to stop fraudulent usage. Of course EasyJet will let you board, they have no way of knowing the card isn't valid, UKBA will though.
