Re: Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI)

Hi, I submitted the application at VFS B'ham 10 days back. They didn't check any originals except British passport which returned to me and submitted the application with copies of all requested documents. I am confused as people updating the status with 'Original Documents Received' data in this th...

Re: Biometric appointment for Child after IDV verification

Good news, received the Citizenship certificate letter from UKVI for my child today. It was quite surprising that I didn't get any email update regarding the decision. Still waiting for the update on my application.

Many people have been experiencing this recently. You can ask UKVCAS for confirmation they received biometrics and passed them along to the Home Office.
Yes I did ask and UKVCAS confirmed they have passed the biometrics to Home Office.

Re: Biometric appointment for Child after IDV verification

I have contacted UKVCAS on 22nd July and they said they have successfully submitted the verification through IDV app and they don't know why UKVI sent such an email and asked me to contact them. I then contacted UKVI and got informed that I can ignore this email as it was sent by mistake and many pe...

Biometric appointment for Child after IDV verification

Hi, I have applied for naturalisation and added my child as a co applicant and the IDV verification done last month. Re: biometrics through IDV app for children

Hi,

I am in similar situation now. My child has got the same message from UKVI. I sent an enquiry to UKVCAS and planning to call UKVI on the given number.

Have you resolved this and what did you do on this.

Many Thanks

Resolved! There is a statement in that page as follows. From the list of documents below, provide as many as you can. Tick each document to confirm that you have read the requirement, even if you cannot send it. If you are unsure about any of the evidence, read the guidance. I think this is clear, I...

Re: Tier2G to ILR with unauthorised vacation outside UK

You are likely reading old rules that no longer apply, so what you are reading is no longer correct. Without linking topics you are reading, that is the only conclusion. PBS dependents qualify within 28 days before the initial visa issue date, same as Ain tier 2 general migrants. Hello CR001, Thank...

Re: Tier2G to ILR with unauthorised vacation outside UK

You do NOT need an absence letter if you were not employed in that period. I do not see any issues Thanks a lot Zimba for the clarification. So I am eligible to apply for ILR on 18-Aug-2021 right based on my visa approval date 16-Sep-2016 ? One more query with my PBS dependents. They got visa appro...

If it's just address then you may be ok, but do it asap next time when you change address or other details change.

https://www.gov.uk/change-circumstances-visa-brp

I don't think this will have an impact on ILR.
Thanks srsw. I am just going to update my current address from the provided link.

Notification of change of address while in T2 Gen

Hi, I never notified home office about my change of address for the last 4 years. I changed employer one time and changed address 5 times and lived only one month at one address out of that. Both of my employers instructed solicitors to process my visa application. I was updating all my change of ad...

Tier2G to ILR with unauthorised vacation outside UK

Hi, I am confused with my qualifying period because of the few things regarding my original work start date and an unauthorised travel outside of UK. Below is my scenario. Originally came to UK on June 2010 in Teir2 ICT (Established Staff). I got an offer to switch to Tier2 and the timelines are bel...
