Re: Visa expiring, help anyone?

This is perfectly ok. There is no need to worry. With backlogs in the EU Treaty Rights Section, there are alot of people in your situation. It seems that there is a current delay of about 7/8 weeks for the applications to be initially processed which is the worst it's been for a long time.

Obie, Once a person meets the requirements of Permanent Residency (Form EU3), they are entitled to apply and recieve this permission. Whether they had stamp 4EUFam previously is irreleavnt. Once they are married at least 5 years to an EU citizen and that EU citizen is residing and working/studying i...

If you come to Ireland to your British father, you must show dependency on him.
Will you be attending college in Ireland. Are you currently dependent on him and can you evidence this?

The fact that the EU citizen is studying is the exercise of rights. Is the college course a university course?

If you apply for the EU1 in Ireland and then decide to live in the UK, you should withdraw your EU1 application.

On another thread it was stated that the current backlog for initial applications is approximately 8 weeks. I guess the staff there need summer holidays too :-)

Re: do not have Prtb letters for eea family permit app

Robsters, have they not decided on your application by now. You've asked the same questions over and over agin for months. PRTB letters are not an essential requirement, just a request. Once bills are submitted and explained, that's fine

Re: 10weeks+ for accompany EU spouse visa

6 months for final decision on the application under the directive and it usually takes about this long. 4 weeks is when they write back to you to acknowledge your application and usually give a temporary stamp for 6 months. Is it 11 weeks since you submitted your EU1 application form? Have you got ...

It is highly unlikely that they would then ask you to send in proof of the new address.

Hi, There are a few options open to you so there is no need to worry :-) As the EU citizen is still in the State and exercising rights, you still have a right to be in the State. When did you marry your sposue? When did you come to Ireland originally? Do you have evidence of your spouse working in t...

Re: EU1 Application as a Student?

Hi,

The evidence od sufficient resources is not offically required under the Directive but helps your application.
If you are in a full time course in a University, this is suffient for execercising your EU Treaty Rights in the State.

Re: British and Non-EU partner moving to Ireland - Help need

Hi, The process is quite straight forward. Once you are both in Ireland, you can apply for 'EU Treaty Rights' using an EU1 application form. Once you (the EU citizen) are working or studying in the State and you are both residing in the State, you will most likely be successful in your application. ...

Ok,

Please confirm some details.
Are they medically/financially dependent on the EU citizen. Is there evidence of this dependency ongoing for a period of
a few years? Do they parents have other family in their home country or is their child in Ireland their only child?

Re: Part-time contract for EU1 application

I am not wrong. For example, if the EU citizen does not work at all but the applicant (non-EU citizen) is the main earner, an application may be approved. This might happen if the EU citizen is female and chooses to not work but stay at home with the children. So there are circumstances where the em...
