Re: ILR approved but brp card not received

if DX has no info it may be a delay in the printing of the card. I've read some people have had this happen where the machine that makes the cards breaks and it takes a few days to fix it or whatever. hopefully somebody will confirm for you by email soon.

Re: BRP card never received - chasing down

it's so strange all the stories I've read about DX. you'd think after so many BRPs and passports are delayed or missing because of them they'd find a more reliable service? or have them sent to a post office and have you pick it up with ID instead? now if I have to pay to get another card sent, what...

Re: How to prove to University I have ILR without BRP

After filling in the online form for BRP not received, they emailed me that the courier said it had been delivered to the following address (my address) on XXXX date (that's what it said, it didn't actually give me a date) and if the above information didn't help me locate it, I should declare the B...

Re: How to prove to University I have ILR without BRP

yes thanks sonata I see now that it does say on the 3rd page "your application for Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK has been approved". I overlooked that as it seemed like just pages of advice/faq type stuff. That helps clarify it at least. Although it doesn't help that above that it says "these...

How to prove to University I have ILR without BRP

Any advice on how to prove I have ILR to my university without a BRP? My BRP was lost by the courier so I will have to apply for a new one which could take months to arrive. I have the letter that came with my returned documents but it doesn't actually say "indefinite leave to remain" or any specifi...

Re: DX Courier misplaced BRP

Any update on what happened? I'm in the same boat and not sure if I should bother writing to the case worker to explain the situation or whather I should just get on with applying for a new card if that's what they're likely to tell me to do anyways. Did you write a letter to the case worker, and if...

Re: BRP card never received - chasing down

So after calling the Home Office, all they could say was that I should write to the address where I had sent my application for ILR to explain the situation. No phone number or email address that I could contact. Sigh. I bet I could wait ages trying to communicate with them for nothing, they'll prob...

Re: How do you contact Home Office about BRP inquiries?

I would also like to know if there's any way to contact them? My BRP never arrived and the DX courier are saying it was delivered to me but they can't tell me who apparently signed for it, only the sender, aka Home Office, can. It's such a headache and waste of money for me to have to cancel and app...

BRP card never received - chasing down

I got my ILR confirmation letter on 15 Aug 2018. After a few weeks the BRP card still hadn't shown up. I filled in the form online for if you haven't received the card within 10 working days. I got an email saying the courier confirmed it was delivered to my address on XXXX date. (that's what it act...

ILR for partner of Brit - lived 5 years in UK - questions

I have been living in the UK with my partner for over 5 years. He is a British citizen. During this time I was first on a Holidaymaker visa and then a student visa, and have been on a Partner visa for the last 15 months. What I want to know is, when can I apply for ILR? Does the 5 years only count i...
