I had send a photocopy of my current H1B and original's from previous employer, in my cover letter I had mentioned that H1B is in general granted to a person with atleast a bachelor's degree or equivalent exp, and refered to USIS website for more info. It was just an extra proof

Is your Master's in the same field? My undergrad is in Civil Engg and M.S in Computer Info. Sys. my MS was not considered UK Master's equivalent by NARIC as my Master's was not in the same field as Bachelors.

It's not at all impossible, and it totally depends on demand for your skills. I know people who got job offers before actually getting HSMP.

I think in IT if you have worked for a top company like Microsot, Oracle, Sun, Google etc then your chances are good

select Work Permit Dependent for more than 6 months and when you print the application stike that and replace it with HSMP Dependent, thats what they told me to do

I think 0114 207 6020, I told them that I need to arrange a courier pick up and they transfered the call to my caseworker who told me about the outcome of the application

oh that's terrible, I had called credit card company and told them that there will be some charges from UK. CC from US are very strict about charges from overseas. Specially if you have never charged anything from overseas on that card
