Can Tier 2 time and EEA time contribute to PR application?

Hi,

I was in the UK for two years under Tier 2.
Now I'm in the UK as an EEA resident.

Will I be able to combine both times in an application for permanent residency, or do you have to choose one category?

thanks

How to established date of entry to UK as EEA citizen

Hi, I was on a tier 2 visa until May 2016 when it expired. I remained in the UK as an EU citizen because I got Portuguese citizenship in April 2016. Since then I've crossed the border several times with no problem as an EEA resident and have been working in the UK the entire time on PAYE and sometim...

Registration certificates and cards

I live & work in the UK. I received Portuguese citizenship in April 2015. Previously I was on a Tier 2 visa for two years, and then previous to that on Tier 5 for 2 years. I arrived in the UK in April 2012. With all the Brexit uncertainty, I'm wondering if it is prudent for me to apply for the EEA (...

In Tier 2 appeal process, but also getting EU passport

I'm in the Tier 2 appeal process because my application to extend my Tier 2 General visa was refused. I haven't heard back on the appeal yet. I have until the end of the month to apply again. Parallel to this I've just found out I've been granted citizenship in another EU country. They're issuing me...

Question about EEA spouse who is moving home

A family member of mine is in the United Kingdom on an EEA2 visa. Her husband is a dual Irish / Canadian citizen. They are both currently living in the UK. Her husband may take work abroad, which will mean her right to work in the UK will expire. If that does happen, and if she stops working, how lo...

Re: Leave to Remain refused - wrong CoS number - can I appea

if I appeal and that fails, will I be able to apply again for a new extension visa? I'm just wondering the timeline because leave expires 1 May so I need to sort out if I apply for standard service, or expedited service, or to try the appeal route first. Any thoughts? Is it helpful to see a lawyer? ...

Re: Leave to Remain refused - wrong CoS number - can I appea

Ok. So probably what has to happen is my employer needs to request a new unrestricted CoS, then assign that to me when they get that, then I have to apply for leave again - because an appeal will probably fail? How long does it typically take for a request for an unrestricted CoS to be approved? Why...

Does my employer need to issue me a new CoS?

Tier 2 General renewal rejected. Have been in UK for 2 years. Applied for visa renewal in January using my old certificate of sponsorship (I thought this was what I needed), not knowing that my employer had not created a certificate of sponsorship for me. I have 14 days to apply for an administrativ...

Leave to Remain refused - wrong CoS number - can I appeal?

Hi, I've been in the UK for almost 2 years under Tier 2. I applied to renew my visa last month (to stay under Tier 2 general). I just got a letter that my Tier 2 application for leave to remain was refused. This is because I used the wrong Certificate of Sponsorship reference (I used my old CoS inst...

Getting Tier 2 renewed + raise question

Hi, I'm applying to have my Tier 2 visa renewed (in country). My employer will also be giving me a salary raise. What comes first - do I apply for the new visa (the form asks me what my current salary is) and do I wait to get the visa to get the raise, or can I also get a raise while the visa applic...

Re: Question about getting salary raise if on Tier 2

Ok, so is an Increment letter something that is within the SMS and that my employer has to take care of?

Can you should me where the documentation is on the Internet about an increment letter, and where it says it is possible to get a raise?

Sorry I can't find it in the RMLT.

Thanks so much!

Hey Immigration Board people. I have permission to stay under Tier 2 (General) until April 2016. My employer is going to renew my visa. Re: Question re: Visa renwal and salaray

Ok. So what is the process, does my employer apply for the visa extension, and then I apply through gov.uk?

Where did you get the information that my employer does not have to reduce my pay?

Thanks

They're able to do PAYE but can't do a contract. Can you explain why a contract would be necessary for some supplementary work?

It's casual - I'm not sure if it is self employed. I will check.
If it is not self-employed is it OK?

urgent, supplementary employment question under 20 hour

I am in the UK on a Tier 2 general under a Web developer SOC code working full time. I was offered an additional short term part time work that is under 20 hours per week (as a casual freelancer) and is also Web development. Thus it is 'at the same professional level as the work for which my Certifi...
