Re: Reapplication - fast track

Just got email saying documents and passport are ready for collection. So only took 3 days.

I'm hoping the speed of the decision is a positive sign. We will find out tomorrow.

Re: Reapplication - fast track

Hi Yes I paid the £360 fast track and yes I paid the surcharge as you can't submit the application until you've paid the surcharge. Re: Reapplication - fast track

Hi Its for a spouse settlement visa in Cairo. We have had to reapply as The British Counsel in Cairo gave my husband the wrong test so we failed on the English Language requirement the first time. Took the right test shortly after the refusal but ECM and appeal judge wouldn't allow. I have decided t...

Re: Appeal against Refusal of Entry (Wife Settlement Visa)

Hi If it's any help we were refused on the English Language Requirement as the test The British Counsel in Cairo gave my husband turned out to be not on the list despite repeated reassurances by them that it was fine for the UK Visa. I know from the website the processing times for new applications and in our case it took two months. Does a reapplication take less or more time and does fast-tracking make a big differe...

Re: Spouse Visa - Egypt (currently under appeal)

After chasing this up with the international visa enquiry service they said the documents had gone back to the appeal court on 31st December. On calling the justice department they told me that UKVI have stood by their decision, so now I await their defence bundle of documents and a court date. Any ...

Re: Wife Application rejected for unknown reason

Seems to be quite common they told us the English requirement certificate wasn't there when it was but because they took back the receipt for the evidence we submitted when they returned some of our documents we weren't able to prove it.
