Re: Proof of residence for Self-employed EEA

Thanks for your reply I am slightly confused with your advice. I agree with you, EEA passports don’t get stamped. But surely HO has a record of all the trips. My understanding of proof of residence for everybody is • Your Passport OR • Explanation on page 24 of application and more evidences In addi...

Re: Name on Biometric wrong

UPDATE: I wrote a letter to nationality biometrics about the incorrect date of birth. I sent as a recorded letter by royal mail. I copied my MP who said that she will chase home office for me. Yesterday I received a new letter stating that I failed to comply with first letter instruction to provide ...

Re: Name on Biometric wrong

I wrote to nationality biometrics and contacted my MP as well. I contacted citizenship helpline again. They said they are different department. They also said I should only contact them by email, not write to them because biometrics team will not respond and just wait. It is now 5 weeks and emailed ...

Re: EEA4 fast processing times or wishful thinking

Hello

We applied for EEA3 & EEA4 - 12/01/15.
EEA4 confirmation letter received after one week
EEA4 COA received in couple of weeks

Then yesterday we received EEA3 & EEA4 confirmation letters again.
What did HO send us same letter twice? Is that bad or good sign?

Re: EEA3/4 refusal, Appeal vs Apply again vs Reconsideration

Yes I did send invoices, NI contributions, accountant letter. Below is what case worker wrote: Decision can only be reversed where it is clear that the original decision was not taken in line with the prevailing policy and immigration law at the time decision was reached. The onus is on applicants t...

Re: EEA3/4 refusal, Appeal vs Apply again vs Reconsideration

Thanks all for reply

Just an update
Case worker refused to reconsider my application.

She asked me to submit a new application.

I wonder whether or not I should re-apply and send new applications directly to the same case worker rather than send it to Durham Office. Is that allowed?

Thanks

EEA3/4 refusal, Appeal vs Apply again vs Reconsideration

Hi everyone, I am new to this website. I hope you can advise me. We applied for EEA3 and 4 about two months ago and got refusal. Reason: We have not provided sufficient evidence to demonstrate that my wife has been economically active in the United Kingdom as a self-employed person. We have failed t...
