I submitted my British passport this morning for the OCI stamp and will be collecting it at 4.30pm today.

So will there be just a stamp on my British passport or will I be given a card as well? Just good to be sure

Any tips for queues and procedure to collect OCI from HCI London?

Do I have to queue up on the left side outside the HCI? Or do I collect the token and go straight inside?

Also, do I have to drop the UK passport in the morning and collect in the afternoon?

VfS used to have an office in Wilton Road in Victoria, London. Is this closed now? I can't see it on their website here:

Does Self-attest mean that I write on each photocopy page "This is a true copy of the original", sign it and date it?

Do I have to take an appointment with VFS London to submit my application for surrendering Indian passport? Or can I just walk in?

I got my British citizenship almost 7 years ago but have not used my Indian passport since then (no stamps, etc). What is the average fine I might get in this case? (just a ballpark number)

Its already been a year since I got my British passport and I wish to cancel my Indian passport. Does anyone how to go about it ? i.e. is there a special queue for that in the Indian Embassy or can i do it by post , etc ?

I am coming back to this board after a few months and so this question might sound silly to some. Lot of the recent applicants have said they are applying based on 4 + 1 criteria. Didnt some law come in force this summer saying the number of years for Infinite Leave to Remain has been changed to 5 ?...
